Key Account Manager (m/f/d) – with the prospect of becoming a purchasing manager

As a leading supplier of active and passive rollover protection systems, we at Innosafes develop innovative solutions for the automotive industry – from the initial idea through to series production. Our strength lies in the combination of engineering expertise and in-house manufacturing: from product and process development through FEM, validation and prototyping to CNC machining, welding and assembly, including body-in-white integration. Our portfolio is complemented by engineering services and our own products, such as our truck comfort bed and modular safety systems. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:

  • You will take responsibility for our commercial processes as well as the management and development of our key accounts.
  • You will be the main point of contact for our customers – from enquiries and quotations through to long-term partnerships
  • You will manage and coordinate projects in close collaboration with development, production and senior management
  • You will prepare and follow up on quotations and play an active role in price and contract negotiations
  • You will actively develop our sales and commercial structures and contribute your own ideas
  • You will contribute to the further development of our overall commercial strategy
  • You are directly involved in business decisions and have a tangible influence on the company’s success
  • You work in a medium-sized company with short decision-making processes and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • The role is designed with a view to you eventually taking on a key leadership role within the company
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • A degree in a commercial or technical field, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years’ experience in sales, key account management or project management – ideally in an industrial environment
  • A strong understanding of technical products and business contexts
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner when dealing with customers and partners
  • A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Negotiation skills and entrepreneurial thinking; confident use of MS Office, ideally with experience of ERP systems
  • Very good command of German; knowledge of English would be an advantage
